Danicop Ticugan Spring is introducing our very own “Nilagang Saging” which is a very popular Filipino dishes. Nilagang Saging is one of the most simpliest but comforting food that we used to enjoy. This is also our regular merienda in the countryside. Cooking this dish is very simple and very affordable.

Danicop Ticugan Spring is introducing our very own “Nilagang Saging” which is a very popular Filipino dishes. Nilagang Saging is one of the most simpliest but comforting food that we used to enjoy here at the spring. This is also our regular merienda in the countryside. Cooking this dish is very simple and very affordable.

Ingredients:

  • 12 pcs. of Plantain Banana
  • 12 cups of water

Procedure:

  • Cut each banana out of its stem and trim it.
  • Place in a large casserole and put the 12 cups of water and make sure to cover atleast 1 inch above the bananas.
  • Bring to a boil and simmer for at least 15-20 minutes.
  • Remove from the casserole and drain then let cool down; Serve it warm and enjoy.

  • As they are rich in pottassium, banana help ease blood circulation in the body, reducing the risk of strokes, and regulating blood pressure and heartbeat.
