Danicop Ticugan Spring’s Tinolang Manok is a popular dish here in the Philippines with a great and refreshing taste to prepare. This dish is easy to cook and not only gives an affordable price but also gives you a good health. You will like having a Tinolang Manok especially here in the spring. While enjoying the coldness of the spring, you can have some hot tinolang manok after that, it will keep you stay warm and gives you comfort.

Ingredients:

  • 1 stalk lemongrass, pounded and tied
  • 1 pack of tinola seasoning
  • 2 thumb-size ginger, cut into strips
  • ¼ cup picked chili tops 10g
  • 1 pc finger chili
  • ½ kg of chicken legs and thighs
  • 1 pc small unripe papaya, sliced 250
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 pc onion, chopped 80g
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 4 cups of water

Procedure:

  • Season chicken with your prepared tinola seasoning
  • Sauté garlic, onion, ginger, lemongrass and finger chili in oil.
  • Add the chicken and cook for 5 minutes.
  • Pour water, boil, skim the scum and simmer for 10 minutes.
  • Add papaya and simmer for another 10 minutes.
  • Season again with your tinola seasoning; Stir in the chili tops.
  • Transfer into a serving bowl and serve immediately.
